How we handle reader information
Here is how our independent information site about Casperspins handles reader information. The information we handle comes from two places: messages that readers send through our contact form, and analytics that show which of our pages are read. Anything about a player account sits with the casino's own support and its own policies.
Some links may be commercial (affiliate) links, and following one may let the other site place its own cookies under its own policy. We keep the wording plain and the list of purposes short, so a reader can see quickly what happens to information.
Information we may collect
Here is what we may collect and why. The last column shows the purpose in each case.
Type of information | Example | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
Contact messages | Your name, e-mail address and the text you send | To read and answer your message |
Analytics data | Pages visited, device type and general location | To see which pages help readers and to improve them |
Cookie data | A small file stored in your browser | To keep our pages working and to measure use |
Cookies and analytics in brief
Our cookie policy covers the details; the main points are short. A cookie is a small file that a browser stores for a site, and analytics cookies add up visits so that we can see which of our Casperspins pages readers open most. In short:
- Some cookies keep our pages working as expected.
- Analytics cookies help us count visits and see which pages are read.
- Cookies can be changed or deleted in your browser settings at any time.
- Cookies placed by other sites we link to follow those sites' own policies.
Your rights
Readers can raise a question about their information through our contact form, and the route works like this:
- Mention which message or visit your question concerns.
- Say what you would like to know or have corrected.
- Send it through the contact form, and we answer through the same route.
How we use information
Replying to messages
A message is used to answer you and, where it points to a mistake, to correct the page.
Improving our pages
Analytics help us see what readers look for and where they leave, so that we can make pages clearer. We use the data in summary form, to see trends across many visits.
What a message contains
A contact message usually holds a name, an e-mail address and a few lines about a page. That is enough for a reply, and the message can stay focused on the page and the question.
Links to other sites
When you follow a link from our pages, you move to another site, and that site handles your information under its own policy.
Changes
When our practices change, we update this policy and the date below.
